If you missed the annual GOAL Program held with Columbus Technical College, you missed a good one. We sponsor a portion of the competition where outstanding students in the different programs at the school are identified by the instructors and compete for a local winner. Members of the club have served as judges in the past, and this year was no different. The local winner will progress up the pyramid to the state for competion with other technical school winners. A member of our club (Olice Embry) will assist in judging the state competition.
Three of the candidates gave their 3-minute speeches used in the competition at our regular weekly meeting and the winner was announced. Columbus Tech also used our club meeting as a place to announce the outstanding faculty member for the year.
